The Baltimore Museum of Industry is a tribute to innovation, progress, and the hard-working people who built this city and who continue to make it a great place to live, work and play. It joins the past with the present while glancing ahead to the future. What a great place for a Baltimore wedding!
Both day and evening offer up amazing scenery for wedding photographs. Couples may take their vows along the Inner Harbor waterfront and dance under the glow of the Domino Sugars sign at night (a spectacular emblem of Charm City’s industry, as seen above). The Baltimore downtown cityscape and views of boats along the harbor, as well as the Industry Terrace are all perfect for wedding portraits and photojournalistic shots.
The museum itself is another fun and interesting place for wedding photos. Newlyweds and guests may mingle and dine under a hanging airplane, alongside galleries showcasing Baltimore’s history in machinery, printing, garment design, and more. At night, the city shines through floor to ceiling windows, lighting up the festivities. This is one of the most original of venues and one of my very favorites.
